Measuring approximately 20 cm in height and 16 cm in width, and weighing 1700 grams (1.700 kilograms), this is a substantial carving with commanding presence. Carborundum is the trade name for Silicon Carbide, a laboratory-created crystalline material known for its intense sparkle and exceptional durability. While not a naturally occurring mineral, it is widely collected for its dramatic metallic finish and unique texture. The surface of this skull is densely coated in micro-crystals, creating a rugged, druzy-like appearance with subtle rainbow flashes depending on lighting and angle.
